Bangkok Art Book Fair (BKKABF) is determined to maximise a capacity of art books and dreams for endless stories. It is an endeavour to support a self-publishing practice, to promote diverse discourses through printed material, and to expand a community of art books maker and readers.

Initiated by Studio 150 in partnership with Bangkok CityCity Gallery in 2017, BKKABF fosters knowledge dissemination and distribution of artistic materials, inspirations, and hopes by bringing together individuals and groups of artists and designers, local alternative publishing houses, international network of independent as well as established publishers.

BKKABF2021 Event

Initiated by STUDIO150 in partnership with BANGKOK CITYCITY GALLERY since 2017, BANGKOK ART BOOK FAIR (BKKABF) is an annual event aimed to bring together self-publishing and co-creating community to contribute in discovering and exchanging ideas, cultural ideals, and artistic aspirations.

Presenting a mixed format of an art book fair together with an installation in the gallery space, this year the 4th edition of BKKABF2021, DON’T KEEP YOUR DREAM AT HOME dedicates itself to every self-publisher who constantly makes contributions to question and challenge the current social and political issues amidst the uncertainty that soars as a result of the covid-19 pandemic.

BKKABF CO-OP

BKKABF CO-OP is an online independent publishing community developed in parallel with the future editions of BANGKOK ART BOOK FAIR, under the framework and principles of a cooperative. This digital-based community highlights knowledge production and circulation among independent publishers/creators whilst supporting corporations between BKKABF CO-OP members as well as promoting themselves and their creations.


BKKABF CO-OP Online Festival 2020 is the first public presentation of BKKABF CO-OP since its beginning in April 2020.
