Prologue | A Way of Seeing: Reading Southeast Asia Through Photobook and Self-publishing

Fotobook DUMMIES Day

Taiwan

——

Prologue | A Way of Seeing: Reading Southeast Asia Through Photobook and Self-publishing is a publication divided into 2 parts, BIG BOOK and SMALL BOOK. FBDD intended to document the ongoing and vibrant SEA photography and self-publishing scene from a maker’s point of view, instead of the academic perspective. As a self-publisher, we can view and write the creation of work of the interviewed self-publishers with the same eyes. We hope this project can open up the possibility of mutual understanding and cooperation opportunity between Taiwan and Southeast Asia. The Chinese version was published on 12th Jan early this year, the English and Thai version will be exclusively released on BKKABF CO-OP Platform.
