BKKABF CO-OP
Application Dates: May 1-31, 2020
Across April 2020, BKKABF team invited everyone to share their answers to our questionnaire and exchanged thoughts and ideas in the Contribution Period as we believe that collaboration could amplify the possibilities of what the BKKABF CO-OP could be. The Contribution Period was an iterative process between the team and the Contributors in order to co-develop the BKKABF CO-OP’s programming, whilst evaluating possibilities in making an online platform for the initiative. Furthermore, the discussions uncovered the shared values and concerns among the Contributors and the team which were used as the foundation of the BKKABF CO-OP development.
Commencing the next phase, we open for membership application and project proposal submission in the Application period from 1-31 May 2020.

About BKKABF CO-OP Cooperative
The BKKABF CO-OP is a not-for-profit and self-funded initiative by the BKKABF team as a parallel project of the Bangkok Art Book Fair. Whilst the membership fee will be used for platform development.
The BKKABF CO-OP is operated and managed by the BKKABF team with the support from Spacebar Design Studio for platform development and maintenance. We welcome any in kind or in cash sponsorship and support from anyone who would like to take part in our initiatives.
Programming of BKKABF CO-OP
Our programs are designed based on key findings from the Contribution Period. Divided into 3 pillars, they are as follows:
1. Public Exposure: promoting BKKABF CO-OP members and their works via online medium and on our online platform.
2. Knowledge Production and Circulation: supporting educational-based projects for public on topics revolving around future visions and practices
3. Cooperation and Community: collaborating among BKKABF CO-OP members and creating works and projects in partnership.
Modes of Collaborations
The project initiated by the members could be conducted in three various modes. The modes are flexible and can be altered to fit with the member's needs.
1. Self-organizing: projects initiated and chaired by members of BKKABF CO-OP. This mode of collaboration allows organizing members to independently work on its program. While keeping BKKABF CO-OP team posted for updates and progress, the BKKABF team gives support back in terms of project promotion/communication and/or technical issues.
2. Collaboration: projects organized in collaboration between members of BKKABF CO-OP or between members of BKKABF CO-OP and the BKKABF CO-OP team.
3. BKKABF CO-OP projects: projects or ideas initiated, shared or proposed by members of BKKABF CO-OP and realized by the BKKABF CO-OP team.
